Dr Fitzsimons began performing refractive
surgery upon delivery of the first lasers
into Australia in 1990. His expertise includes
all aspects of refractive surgery including
Lasik, Clear Lensectomy, Photorefractive Keratectomy,
and Refractive Keratoplasty. He is a member
of the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists,
the American Academy of Ophthalmology and
the American Society of Cataract and Refractive
Surgery.
Dr Simon Liew Accreditations: MBBS. M.MED. FRANZCO
Dr Liew is a Sydney trained ophthalmologist
and a former Corneal Fellow at the University
of Glasgow in Scotland. Dr Liew specialises
in cornea and anterior segment diseases, Lasik,
refractive and cataract surgery. He is a member
of the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists
and Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive
Surgery.

Dr Lewis studied medicine at the University
of New South Wales and completed her
training in ophthalmology at Prince of Wales
Hospital. She undertook a fellowship in
cornea, cataract, refractive, contact lenses
and external disease at Moorfields Eye
Hospital in London before returning to
Sydney in 2006

Nhung Nguyen

Lasik & Refractive Surgery Manager
Melbourne trained Orthoptist. She has worked in the ophthalmology
field since 1998. Nhung has extensive experience in ophthalmology,
she has worked in Melbourne
and Sydney, during which time she has been involved in
all facets of ophthalmology including cataract and glaucoma
surgery, oculo-plastics and refractive surgery. In the
last seven years she has devoted exclusively to laser and
refractive surgery.
Kristen Aouad
B.Ap.Sc (Orthoptics)
Orthoptist and Laser Technician
Kristen graduated from Sydney University for
her Bachelor of Orthoptics. She has experience
in ophthalmology with special interest in refractive surgery
and ocular motility condition. She enjoys working with
children and caring for lasik patients prior to and after
their procedure.
Margaret Gallagher
Team Leader Reception
Margaret has worked in the field of ophthalmology since
1996 and enjoys working with people. Margaret has had
LASIK surgery herself in 2003, and her vision is now 20/20.
She is thrilled with the results and says, "It is
great to see patients faces and the computer without the
hassles of taking off and putting on the glasses."
