Dr Fitzsimons has been with the practice for over 12 years. He is a well
established surgeon in Sydney . Dr Fitzsimons is a member of Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The International
Strabismus Association, The Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and The American
Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He began refractive surgery in Australia in 1990 with the
delivery of the first refractive lasers. Dr Fitzsimons consults at our Parramatta,
Penrith and Castle Hill rooms. |

body for macular specialists) and works for The Fred Hollows Foundation. Dr Arnold is a
medical retinal and macula specialist. She is one of 18 ophthalmologists, world wide involved
in the revolutionary work carried out during the past 6 years, in the diagnosis and management
of Age Related macula Degeneration (AMD). Dr Arnold consults at our Parramatta,
Penrith and Castle Hill rooms. |

He is a visiting medical officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney. He consults
at our Parramatta, Castle Hill and Penrith rooms. |

Robert Chong

Following completion of
his ophthalmology training at Prince of Wales Hospital, Dr Chong
undertook 2 years of further retinal fellowship training overseas at
Southwest Eye Hospital, Chongqing, China and
Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He is an
Investigator for a number of interventional retinal studies in the field
of Macular Degeneration. His other expertise includes Diabetic
Retinopathy and retinal vascular diseases including Retinal Vein
Occlusion. Dr Chong is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

Dr Kwon Kang

Dr Kang
completed ophthalmology training at Prince of Wales Hospital and pursued
a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery and medical retina at Southampton
University Hospital, UK, where he also worked as a consultant in 2005
and 2006. He has been active in research into retinal diseases and
participates in rural ophthalmology as a visiting consultant at Broken
Hill Base Hospital. He has been involved in a volunteer ophthalmology
program in Burma since 2003. He speaks Korean fluently. back to top

DR Ashish AGAR

Ophthalmology
Trained in
ophthalmology at Prince of Wales Hospital. He obtained his fellowship in
Glaucoma from Oxford and spent time at Moorfields Eye Hospital during
2006-2007. Dr Agar is engaged in research into Glaucoma pathogenesis and
was awarded a PhD in this field. His other interests include rural
ophthalmology as a visiting consultant in Broken Hill and Tamworth, and
in Aboriginal medicine with the Fred Hollows Foundation in Moree. Dr
Agar volunteers for aid work in Burma and India and is fluent in Hindi. back to top
