Clinical Research is expanding at
Marsden Eye Specialists. Dr Jennifer Arnold
co-ordinates the research team of Ophthalmologist,
Orthoptists and Registered Nurses. The department
currently has 10 ongoing international and local
clinical trials. The main focus of research is on
new treatments for Age Related Macular Degeneration,
Diabetic Macular Oedema and retinal Vein Occlusions.
Patients enrolled in these trials have access to new
advanced treatments that are in the final stages of
development prior to approval and release.
